The Øya Festival in Norway recently won festival of the year during Norway’s Concert Promoters Awards (Norske Konsertarrangører). Yesterday the festival confirmed four new acts for this years event. The Kills, Travis Scott, NAO and Savages are playing Øya Festival in Oslo this summer.

The Kills (UK/ US)
The Kills are releasing their fifth studioalbum in June and be sure they will play some new material at Øya. It’s been over ten years since The Kills have played in Norway, and we are in for a treat.

Travis Scott (US)
Travis Scott got praised for his album “Rodeo” last year. And on the record you can listen to collaborations done with The Weeknd, Pharrell Williams and Justin Bieber to name a few.

NAO is an one-to-watch-artist of 2016, and of course booked for Øya.

Savages (UK)
Savages released their second studio album earlier this year. Apparently the Øya-people got a backwards hairstyle by the song “The Answer”. Apparently the single blew their mind.

Already in the line-up you can find artists like PJ Harvey, Aurora, Eagles Of Death Metal, Kvelertak, Sonde Justad, M83 etc. You can see the full line-up on Øya Festivals webpage. Mastodon who had to cancel last years event is returning to Øya this year. I can’t wait!

Be sure to get your tickets. There are less than 2000 weekend-passes left!
